Good promotion for this blog

It seems as though you've got to digitally prove yourself to acquire people's digital trust. No one wants to commit to a virtually "boring" or "lame" digital media. We're gonna start re-vamping everything that's going on as far as this "internet" goes. Soon to come! Stay tuned!

Dancing Sunrise EP

Hey!

We've got copies of the Dancing Sunrise EP available for a measly 3 dollars at our shows and at all other times! If you see us at all, chances are we've got a copy of the CD on us so be sure to please your ears and your mind by picking one up for yourself (and your friends if you're feeling generous)!

Vinyl Records, Music Video, shows in Chapel Hill, Summer Tour, Banner

Hey everyone,

We're gonna start updating this far more often, yay!

As you can see in the title, there are a number of things going on!
We recently got signed to Vinyl Records and will be producing an album with them over the course of the next year sop be on the lookout. We'll most probably be posting a few tracks off of it when the time comes so keep your ears open =)
Until those tracks are out though, you should make your way over to www.myspace.com/groupmentality to listen to some of the existing tracks!

May 7th, we're heading to Savannah, Georgia to film a music video! Woooohoooo! I guess when we know more about that we'll explain =P

From now until the end of the semester, we've got a bunch of shows both on campus and off campus at the University of North Carolina @ Chapel Hill, so if you're located there be sure to check us out and help spread the word =D

Not much news about the tour, except that it's highly likely it's going to happen. We're thinking of a two week run from Miami, Florida to North Carolina or above, who knows?

Banner!
We need your help! If you're located in Chapel Hill (of Miami) and would like to lend us a helping hand, we'd be so grateful. We need someone with artistic prowess to paint a roll-up canvas (provided by us of course) with our logo and some information. Any help at all would be wonderful thanks.

Till next time,

Group Mentality

Lyrics: Big Cypress

On your table lay autumns gold
I'll find my way back home when trees do grow
When those reddened bows are ripe and old,
We'll stop holding only to what we know

There is no speech in Our abode
but whistle's carried on from down the road.
When those reddened bows are ripe and old,
we'll stop holding only to what we know.

Lyrics: Cornucopias

We're sitting on rooftops under those cornucopias
Spitting two ways again the wind, against the window.
Every man has his dream, when as young boys they would sigh in their sleep
Every man wants to see all between white lines.

Now the wind spitting two ways
there is no where I'd rather be
I am one to believe that as we grow old our escaped dreams
always find us in need of searching under every white lines

Lyrics: Flight

If you've got both your arms undone
hold my longing to the clearest dawn.
If you've got no words to reflect upon,
the sky will hold you underneath its calm.

Time is all that I want.
My voice, it seems to be lost.
Your color, it's slipping off.
My voice, it seems to be lost.

If you are at ease with the world you've got
hold my longing to the clearest dawn.
If you've got no words to reflect upon
they sky will hold you underneath its calm.

Lyrics: From the Stem Up

Won't you wait up?
I've been knocking at your door
for you to come outside
and teach my more my love.

Are you still up?
I've been knocking at your window
with this dime
for several endless minutes now.

Is it too old?

For the last days
I've been doing nothing
but putting you on steps
that take you higher than the sun.

In your grace,
I have seen the woman you once were
and will no longer be

Your sereny is wasted
your company is changing
John, I have held it in too long.

Your symphony is ending
Your company is changing
John I have held it in too long.
