Lyrics for Strawberry tunes

We've gotten requests from various people to upload our lyrics for our latest musical endeavor, Strawberry, so here they are. Enjoy and interpret as you'd like. If you've got questions feel free to ask us!

Big Cypress-

On your table lay autumns gold
I'll find my way back home when trees do grow
When those reddened bows are ripe and old,
We'll stop holding only to what we know

There is no speech in Our abode
but whistle's carried on from down the road.
When those reddened bows are ripe and old,
we'll stop holding only to what we know.

Cornucopias-

We're sitting on rooftops under those cornucopias
Spitting two ways again the wind, against the window.
Every man has his dream, when as young boys they would sigh in their sleep
Every man wants to see all between white lines.

Now the wind spitting two ways
there is no where I'd rather be
I am one to believe that as we grow old our escaped dreams
always find us in need of searching under every white lines.

Flight-
If you've got both your arms undone
hold my longing to the clearest dawn.
If you've got no words to reflect upon,
the sky will hold you underneath its calm.

Time is all that I want.
My voice, it seems to be lost.
Your color, it's slipping off.
My voice, it seems to be lost.

If you are at ease with the world you've got
hold my longing to the clearest dawn.
If you've got no words to reflect upon
they sky will hold you underneath its calm.

From the Stem Up-

Won't you wait up?
I've been knocking at your door
for you to come outside
and teach my more my love.

Are you still up?
I've been knocking at your window
with this dime
for several endless minutes now.

Is it too old?

For the last days
I've been doing nothing
but putting you on steps
that take you higher than the sun.

In your grace,
I have seen the woman you once were
and will no longer be

Your sereny is wasted
your company is changing
John, I have held it in too long.

Your symphony is ending
Your company is changing
John I have held it in too long.

Leaf-

His infirmity was a lack of knowing is own ground
He held his compassion in his heart above his crown
In his hour of silence he would listen for the sound
Held his ear to the dirt and heard the world go round

His conversation was a puzzle, each word a piece to hold
The wind around him seemed to bristle, life would seep out of it's cold
A man to humble his own will to ages past but never told
In his prime his sigh was one of old

Sand remains all on his vest, his passion on his coat
His weeping walls of wood are complementary to his home
In every cabinet drawer are notes he'd never get to hold
In his prime his sigh was one of old

I see him under lined walls of art on every day
The wind holds to his face, he hasn't got too much to say
He says to the Earth, "Don't waste your arrows on this day,
I've seen the answer to to this sight in black and grey."

Red Pillow-

Blue is the color in the eyes, in the shine today.
Growing around me is color I can not explain
The sun it will rise, but never in vain.
I want you for myself
I want you as yourself.

Most of my time is spent in a dumbfounded gaze
Thinking of clocks and the way that time runs away
The sun it will rise, but never in vain
I want you for myself
I want you as yourself

Rubadubdub

Now I'm a being just like any other being would be
when I say while lying back under and emerald tree
I've got a whole sunrise to think about what I need
For how I only want you laying right next to me

You're the harmony in everything that I see
I never feel this way when I hit the sensimi
There is no way to relate or describe or conceive
until it's running through your vein, then you can believe

Every beat resonates while the sinking sun sets
Every grain of blown sand rests right under my head
I'm getting married to the sea, don't matter what comes next
Keep my fingers down on my six string neck

If I ever lose the words I'll shut my mouth and let it breathe
My music knows how to explain far better than me
Just how I feel when you come close to me
Under this sky and on this Earth you know I feel complete.

Spinning-

When all light's faded far to the north
and roads like hues shine in all directions
When roads named for their hues are no more,
I won't need more than your protection.

When you floated by on tides of green life,
your oars were only friends to fly with.
I saw in your face between white lines.
I forgot I had time to sit

woooooooooooooooooo
I am spinning, and I am spent...

Walking on Rain-

Paul was a scotsman,
The cold land was his home.
Down to the hem of his kilt you could find
his love for the braes of old.
Up the iciest peak
he roamed alone.

Paul liked to dance around his drink
Had a hear that yearned for a bottle, a girl, a no more.
So we found him a lass, so eager and so young.
after 10,000 shots, he forgot just who he was.

Paul took it quite hard,
when his lass did sail away with a Fenian to Rome.
He said, "I need me a watch to tell me when it's time to go
I can't keep walking on this rain for too much more."

Water-

I'm stuck in the water
holding on to nothing
I'm stuck in the water
Stuck to you.

Now I'm free, free, free, free, free
to hold on to you now.

Thanks for listening to the music =D
